It started as Grade C molasses and had a 5 to 6 day high gravity 1.1 fermentation. It is the DS / SD marque so a small amount of dunder was added to the wash before distillation.
It was distilled at the end of 2019 and March 2020.
With its unique profile ex Rioja casks that were scraped and burned were chosen.
The Rum was casked on 30th October 2020, bottled in July 2023 at 57%.
